Im not black, but my best friend is, and she uses this leave-in conditioner from Tresemme. Its called Tresemme anti-sponge combing cream. It doesn't leave her hair really dry, and its not more that $5 at Walgreens or Walmart. Also she uses Pantene relaxed and natural intensive moisturizing shampoo. I sound like a commercial or something, but get a conditioner with panthenol in it, because it will make your hair softer and smoother. Hope that helped a little! :)
