I need help with the outline of the prject the insticutions I already have for the mixturt of te hair relaxerI have a demonstration speech to give @ school and i want to use how to mix hair relaxer?
Start with your introduction. Eg: ';Hair relaxing is a very common treatment. People with coarse or curly hair use hair relaxing treatments in order to get smooth hair.';
Now, give a brief mention as to what hair relaxing treatment is. Eg: ';After completing a hair relaxing treatment, the client will have smoother hair. Hair relaxing formula includes the following ingredients ____________. A relaxing treatment usually takes 45 minutes.';
Mention each ingredient (in order that you would mix them). Perhaps you could mention the use for each ingredient. Eg: ';When preparing the relaxing treatment, you first measure out a pint of ingredient x. Ingredient x forms the base and it's acidity helps in the overall relaxing treatment. Then we will add some of y. Y functions as a conditioning agent.';
Now how you'd apply it, ';once we've mixed x,y and z together, we cover the client's hair in it. It is important to do this in a highly ventilated area, since the fumes are noxious. You should also periodically check on the client to ensure that their hair is responding well to the treatment and it is not damaged. After 45 minutes, rinse the clients hair and condition it. Now you should be able to style it.';
Perhaps mention some counterindications. Eg: ';You should not apply relaxing treatment to clients with highly damaged hair, bleached hair. If you have a pregnant client, you may want to suggest that they discuss this treatment with their doctor as their may be negative side effects.';
I actually know nothing about relaxing treatments, so obviously you'll have to fill in the details. When writing your outline break it into sections (intro, ingredients, application, counterindications). Under each of these headings use point form and note things you'll say. Unless your teacher tells you otherwise, point form would do.
