your hair will straighten and if you leave it in long enuff or don't neutralize it will eventually fall out.
You need to buy a pretty long hair scarf, people usually got to a fabric store and buy a yard or 2 of fabric they like. fold the triangle, wrap scarf around your head, then twist the material until its like a long ponytail. Then twist into a chignon.
