Hair relaxer?

Is there any type of Hair relaxer or texturizers that does not burn??. My hair is wavy/curly but I still need to use a relaxer (a mild or soft one) but I'm trying to look for one that does not burn. Details are welcome. ThanksHair relaxer?
You might just need to stay away from relaxers, and find other (healthier) ways of straightening your hair (roller sets, sitting under dryer with seran wrap etc...). I've heard that even the no-lye/';mild'; formulas for relaxers have dangerous chemicals in them (similar to Draino and Nair), so that's probably why you burn.Hair relaxer?
Burn? You mean burning the scalp? The relaxer should come with a gel solution that you put on your ears, neck and hairline to prevent product irritation there. If the product is burning your scalp as soon as you put it in your hair, your allergic to the product or you might just have a really sensitive scalp. You're supposed to do a test beforehand to make sure this doesn't happen in you suspect you might be allergic. If the product burns after it's been in your hair for a while, it could be an indicator that you've left it in your hair way too long. Try Soft and Beautiful No Lye Hair Relaxer, because it could be the lye in some of the relaxers that is burning. Stick to no lye relaxers.

Also, try a child's relaxer, those tend to be very gentle.

Hope that helps!
