A hair relaxer is a product is meant mainly for African American women to help straighten and soften our hair. It basically smoothes the hair out, works out the ';well'; naps. So when you wash it out of your hair, your hair is basically like that of a dolls or similar to that of someone of a different race. Such as a caucasian. It is a product that is used in salons, that usually deal with black womens hair. But you can buy it in certain stores such as Sally's Beauty Supply, or maybe some other stores like Dollar General or CVS. But here's a warning: If you are not Black then do not put it in your hair. Because once you start, depending on how long you have been using it. You may never be able to get your hair back to the way it was. Because your hair will get used to it and may not be able to handle with out the relaxer. It could also damage your hair if you do not use it right or depending on the kind of hair that you have. The only ways to get rid of it are to either stop using it completely only if you have used it once or twice. Or to either cut off your hair and regrow it out.
