If this helps am bi- racial (puertorican %26amp; black) ..i think lol

My hair is curly, thick and dry. ( but honsetly speaking, my hair does not feel like hispance hair)Hair....?!?!Relaxer?!?
Hello, I am a hair stylist. First, you should only put relaxer on your new growth. If the rest of your hair is curly, you can put relaxer on it for no more than 5 minutes before you rinse. If your hair is always very curly when you do a touch-up, try getting a relaxer every 6-8 weeks. If you have split ends, trim them off. If you do not, it is probable that your hair will continue to split all the way to your scalp and you will have no healthy hair at all. To soften it, make sure you are using conditioner. I recommend using cholesterol after you shampoo and weekly for a deep condition. If you are using hot tools, make sure to protect your hair with heat protecter. You can use oil sheen instead of shine spray to shine up your hair. (It's cheaper and does the same thing) Hope this helps and feel free to email for more!Hair....?!?!Relaxer?!?
yes, never ever apply relaxer over already relaxed hair... your hair might be beyond the point of recovery... for really dry hair i would suggest biolage ultrahydrating balm.. use this after your regular shampoo and conditioner every time you wash.. if you really want to treat your hair get back to basics rich moisture shampoo and conditioner..Its thick and creamy and smells like pina coladas and softens and nourishes really dry hair... if your hair is breaking or feels mushy i would suggest getting sebastian penetrait. it replaces the protein thats broken down through chemical processes...if you do get these products one at a time start with the biolage ultrahydrating *theres hydrating and ultra hydrating, you want ultra* then the back to basics, you might not need the penetrait if your hair isnt mushy or breaking...
First you have to trim your split ends. Then try this trick it works great it may sound alittle gross at first but it works great! add a tablespoon of olive oil to your conditioner! it works wonders! also try only washing your root for about a month but remeber to condition condition!
um, WHOA lol

U put relaxer on ALL of the hair?? It's only suppossed to be on the curly roots(called ';new growth';)

Okay, first of all get rid of those split ends. You can do this by cutting your hair ends.

Then you have to do a PROTEIN TREATMENT. This is a product that will repair all the damage you have done. There are A LOT of protein treatments out there, a lot of brands have them. I recommend JOICO K-PAK because it is totally THE best because it has REAL human protein in it(others use things like vegetable protein). It is 30 bucks for a tube though....Redken also makes a good one called ';CAT';. you could also try ';Aphogee 2 minute'; treatment. Please try one of these if you can, you NEED it. If you really can't afford it, I've heard several times that mayonaisse and eggs will work.

To put moisture back into your hair, DEEP CONDITION it. Do this by placing conditioner on your hair, putting a shower cap over your hair, and wrap in a warm towel. Leave on for 20 minutes. A good cheap one is Organic Roots Stimulator ';Replenishing Pak';

You said your hair doesn't feel like ';hispanic hair';. Idk what you mean by ';feel'; but I guess you mean it is super curly like black people's hair. Even though it is curly, DO NOT RELAX OFTEN! 2-3 months is good!

This will give you great hair:

1)Shampoo w/ ';Creme of Nature'; *rinse*

2)Protein treatment *rinse*

3)Deep Condition w/ Replenishing pak *rinse*

4)Air-dry in magnetic rollers(will take a couple of hours or overnight depending on how long your hair is)

this site is cool it's where i get my stuff from: http://forum.blackhaimedia.com email me if u want my username

healthytextures.com is great too

and so is longhaircareforum.com
You are over processing your hair. You only need to add the relaxer to the new growth only. You need a deep conditioner and a daily moisturizing lotion
